This game is not consistent meaning that each level works differently where you make it a choice to either obtain some kinda key to unlock one level and then just get to the door in the next level.

Games when made revolve around a concept, but this game was made with a concept but you eventually thought of better things through out but this is why the game is inconsistent!

You just choose a particular concept and try to work around it, in such a way each level feels similar but just a little harder at every stage.

I understand you put in a lot of effort into this game.
But the boss felt a little difficult, gave me a head ache.
I'm not complaining, but maybe the Long bar must be scaled down a bit so that you can dodge it efficiently. It's just my opinion.

I suggest you make the back ground a bit cleaner, so it's more appealing to the eye!

But 'A' for effort buddy.

you can jump on the angel's head for massive damage (7 successful stomps should beat the angel), or mash the down arrow really fast for a steady stream of small attacks (34 successful hits should beat the angel). If you see the "ISRAEL!!!" screen, that means you beat the angel!

Well done on your game.
But here are somethings that I found that bothered me, I hope you work on them to make this game better and find it Rewarding !
But remember 'A' for effort !

The beginning of the game had elements where bats flew at a much higher altitude that could not be reached, so to me that felt like unwanted effort but one or two came straight towards you.

You could maybe lower their altitudes so that you can have something to attack.

After going through the first door, the music turned spooky as hell!
I think you need to find something else for that room replacing that spooky music a little less spookier maybe :) (a little late for Halloween aren't we? xD).
Also I noticed that were some platforms where you climbed a ladder to reach and jumped , but also that had no reward meaning you wasted extra time on something that gives the player nothing. So I suggest you add in a lamp stand there or something that gave you hearts or collectible.

I also think you need to redo the colors on Simon because his clothes are the same as the walls in that region.
Also the pixels art was really amazing I really appreciate the amount of effort put into the visuals.
It could have been a little better if you could make an animation for climbing ladders too wouldn't it ?

So the next door, you land on a platform and a swarm of bats head towards you and you either dodge them/ attack them or just hit.
Then you wait for a moving platform to reach you and you land the jump, but unfortunately you don't seem to move along the plane but you fall of as it moves away from you.Meaning it does not seem to carry you over.

If you are not sure as to how to fix it I suggest you close the gap by adding in more standing planes so you could make the jumps than take that moving plane. Just my suggestion :)
also this game needs some kind of check point because the boss in the 3rd door seems hard!

So this is all that I could find out until the big bat(Boss?) But there's more to this game.
Can't wait to play more.

thaks, i'll take all your comments into consideration, the bats on the first level, the ones that fly on a higher level are supposed to be like for set the tone or something like that, but i see what you mean, again thanks for your comment

I under estimated the resolution that newgrounds handles

im still thinking if i want to fix this or abandon the project. In the end this type of game has been done
hundreds of times so i dont think its worth the effort.

im about to release a different title called -Twitch Streamer Simulator- So check it out if you are

it is a basic clicker game where you just try to get as much money and subscribers.

also,
i would really like if you gave me ideas for games for me to make. i`ve reached a writer`s block.
Nothing too complex though. If you do it i`ll also put you in the credits.

There are many games with similar game play, but for your first game this is really well executed.

Here's an 'A' for putting in the effort to learn Unity and for making a game as clean as this one.
Also liked how the game responded in tight areas like when you could not get past obstacles or make a jump in time, it immediately triggered the end game sequence(sound).

I also noticed that the code generated was intelligent enough to know when the player was going to hit an obstacle or was in a path of a crash the sound began even before you came in contact.
(Which means that the computer knew very well that you would not make that jump.)hence - Intelligent.

The ball continues on for a few meters even after the game ends, which you can control- move and jump.This could be improved by disabling controls as soon as a contact is detected.
Games like this require an immediate reset, since it's an infinite runner kinda game.

The press O to display controls did not show anything, it just revealed part of it.

This problem might be because of the screen size you put in and the Users display settings i'm not too sure about it.But I hope you fix it.

I don't understand why would you make the ball go backwards when you press 'S', at first I thought it was some kind of breaking mechanism but it also went in reverse.
I'd prefer if it just breaks rather than also go backwards.

The number of obstacles remains the same throughout the game and only gets faster with the distance travelled - this needs some adjustment in such a way that the number of obstacles increase for certain blocks of distance travelled and the speed increases with equivalent distance.

Everything mentioned above was suggested only as an opinion that can help better the overall game play experience.

The ball should freeze immediately after a collision, at least the code is like that. I will fix the screen size as soon as possible(thank you for noticing).
The ball can go backward because there are some areas where you have to go backward otherwise you are stuck.
Thank you again for your suggestion. I will keep them in mind for my next game!

Cool game, this is one of those really addicting games that make you want to beat your high score over and over again.

The music was chill and it was pretty balanced with the games concept.

The only thing that bothered me more than the game play was the Main menu, Shades of green ?
that is the worst type of gradient you want in your Menu.
Try checking this out when ever you want to create a color palette/gradient

The game play might be much better if you added a bonus time increase as you finish each level within a certain amount of time, instead of the click on the clock to gain bonus time.Just my opinion, you can either choose to take it or leave it :)

I also noticed that multiple number were placed one over the other, personally it doesn't bother me.
But this results in bad use of available space, meaning there's a lot of unused space here and there which appeared awkward. I hope you sort this out.

And moreover, some number bubbles appear hidden beyond the display; like half the number is visible and the other half gets hidden by the black screen beyond the border of the display.

I understand that the bubbles are placed from its center onto certain pixels, which is why they appear that way, it is better if you avoided the area from the sides which equals the area from the center of the circle. So you would be creating an invincible border which restricts circles being created over that band!
I don't know if that made any sense but i guess you get the picture.
Hope this helps make the game a bit better.

This game is definitely cool.
The music is lit af.
Commend the music guy.

The sfx and the pixel sprites were plain and simple, it fit the concept really well!
This definitely has inspirations from here and there but it all came together really well.
This game has great potential for something that was made in a day!
And this game is one of a kind on its own.

This game needs a difficulty setting for sure, I get that you made this game in a single day and you made it absolutely flawless.But sometimes when you jump you can see yourself pass through the blue cubes without getting hit.
It might just be me or it actually is a bug.
Please check.

My high score was 19 and the next game it got reset to 0 and displayed my current score for the game.It might help if you could save high scores for each player.

I also wish you add in a scoreboard to the game, so that people could compete against each others high score.
My advice is to tweak the level progression with time.Because it feels like it becomes difficult very fast.

This buddy is a very very responsive game, meaning this little dude here moves way too many pixels at the push of a button.

I think you need to lower the number of pixels he moves for just a tap on the keyboard.
This might give us a chance to complete some levels.

I got stuck at one point where you begin on a platform with spikes at both corners and you had to jump once and move left and right/ right and left to get to a platform and jump to get the ball.
I almost gave up and thought that this game could not be completed and you needed to redesign that level.

But i actually managed to complete that level somehow and ended up Finishing the game.
The Victory trumpet was Worth it !
And the congratulations You Win made it worth while playing this.
I can see the amount of effort you put into this.
You definitely deserve a Cookie :D

This is actually a pretty challenging game, and there is always room for improvement.
Add in some sfx too, like when you die, respawn or jump.

At first I thought the accuracy around the spikes was very poor; i.e. when i moved close to them, it instantly kills me even before i could come in contact with it.
But then i figured it wasn't the accuracy but the mov speed on the character !
Hope you work on this.
And the respawn time is ridiculously fast.
Also liked the pixel art and the blood splatter, some sound effects could also make it better.

This line got me good XD

I would actually prefer if you could skip the dialogues that appear in a typed fashion just by clicking once to get to the end of the text. So that we could just read the sentence at once instead of waiting for the whole sequence to appear letter by letter, just saying it could optional.

People who prefer to read can read it as it comes, and people who can't wait can click to skip the animation.

Also when i clicked on skip once or maybe twice everything appeared soo fast and i couldn't read or see anything and it came back to the main menu.
I thought the skip button was for to skip an exchange.

I really loved the visuals especially the anime character "Sarah" was stunningly well designed.
Also the expressions looked really cool.
The sound track was a good choice for this Visual novel.

I really hope you come up with a better name for this, Sarah thinks is not good enough in my opinion!
Again just saying, please talk about it a bunch of people and ask their opinions.
I wouldn't want a great game like this have a boring name.

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Just 1 level, this game got me good thinking every time I shot down all the tomatoes , they reset.
I kept thinking that it was a new level each time
Got me good! xD
I liked how just by pressing one key i kept looping from left to right and they come back from the other side !
Liked the pixel sprites, i thought they looked cute :)
